Call name: Aja

Aja was our second National Winner. She was The Cat Fanciers' Association 16th Best Kitten and the Southern Region's Third Best Russian Blue for the 1999-2000 show season.

Her name is a nod toward her father, Time Bandit. However, Time Out-of-Mind does not lend itself easily as a call name, so it was (mistakenly) decided to call her after the Steely Dan album that the song was on. "Aja" being too appropriate for her (and "Gaucho" decidedly not), the name stuck.
