Call name: Ryusei

Ryusei is our first outcross male.
He was bred at Snow-Island Cattery in Tokyo and we met his breeder, Yukiko Shimada, at the CFA International Show to get him.

His name means "Shooting Star" in Japanese - we thought it was fitting that he have a Japanese name and after talking with his breeder, we thought that was a good name for him. Appropriately enough, the weekend that we got him was at the height of the Leonid meteor showers. And yes, when he first came to our house, he did act as if he was hearing a different language.

Ryusei was a pleasure to show as a kitten and became a two-show grand at the very end of the show season. We are certain that he will be an asset to our breeding program.
